We provide support and care for people with learning disabilities or mental health needs. We pride ourselves on making a positive impact, enabling people to live a more independent life through the correct care and support system.
At Carmel Care, we believe that with the right support and care, anyone can live an independent life. Whether it is in their own home or through shared accommodation, with the correct services in place everyone can live life to the fullest.
To ensure this, we consider the needs of the individual and build a support package that offers choice and control. We create a personalised plan, developed alongside each individual, their families and representatives, then work with our partners, Valorum Care Group to find the right home to meet their needs.
Our supported living approach gives each person the necessary security and independence they need to live a safe, happy and healthy life and we encourage individuals to make their own decisions about how they choose to live.
Alongside our supported living services, we offer outreach support to people living in their own tenancies or at home with family, as well as short break support services and residential care.
Carmel Care supports individuals with learning disabilities or mental ill-health needs, who live in shared accommodation or self-contained flats. We can help with personal care, medication, finances, nutrition, work & college, as well as aid with community accessibility.
Support is delivered in partnership with registered housing providers, whose properties offer plenty of communal space such as lounges, dining rooms and gardens, alongside a private bedroom and in some cases, a private bathroom. Some of our properties also offer self-contained flats within a block, so clients can have increased independence.
Carmel Care provides care to those who require long-term support in a residential home. We offer support with personal care, medication and other daily activities, with a tailored support plan to suit every individual.
Activities can be person-centred to the interests of the individual, from baking, gardening, arts and crafts, to outings, life-skills work and more.
We can offer short or long-term care in the community for those wishing to remain in their own homes. We work with local authorities to create bespoke packages of care and have the capabilities to provide private care packages where needed.
We support people with all aspects of daily living such as personal care, medication and financial support, shopping and domestic services, whilst enabling people to live as independently as possible. We can also offer respite to families, giving them the opportunity to take a break from their caring role. With a range of services on offer, we are confident we can support and accommodate your needs.
