Our Story
Carmel Care is a South-West-based support provider offering services based on the understanding that with the right support and care, anyone can increase their level of personal autonomy and independence.
To ensure this, we consider the needs of the individual, building support plans with choice and control at their heart. Every plan is developed in partnership with individual, detailing the life they want to live and the support needed to achieve this.
The support itself is provided by a kind, caring and compassionate staff team. Expertly trained, they get to know each individual, working alongside them to develop and maintain the skills and abilities that enhance independence.
The care is delivered in the individual’s home, either as part of one of our Supported Living locations, a privately sourced tenancy or in the family home.

Our Services
This ethos can be seen across a range of services, which include:
Our support focuses on what is important to the individual – at home, at work and in the community. It centres around the things they want to do in life and what is important for them – for example, keeping safe and healthy.
Effective communication is central to the way we work. By listening carefully to what people say through their words or behaviour, we ensure that our support matches their needs.
We support people with all aspects of daily living, such as personal care, medication and financial support, shopping, and domestic services, while enabling them to live as independently as possible. We can also offer respite to families, giving them the opportunity to take a break from their caring role. With a range of services on offer, we are confident we can support and accommodate your needs.
